The two performances on this DVD were filmed around 2005. They feature an afternoon Punch & Judy show on the Promenade at Aberystwyth in Wales and an evening show in a 600-seat fairground-style tent in the Midlands. Together they give a flavour of a British traditional Punch & Judy show performed in public places to audiences drawn from the passing throng. In addition there is also some unique archive film from 1997 of Mr.Punch's 325th Birthday Party held in the piazza of Covent Garden in London.

Glyn Edwards has been a Punch and Judy Professor for 5O years. He has taken his show to beaches, village greens, shopping malls, funfairs, festivals, museums, school, stately homes, public houses and private dwellings. He has performed on the streets of Naples, Paris and London and has travelled, taught and performed widely in Russia, USA, Japan and The Gulf States. The Times Newspaper has descibed him as being "among today's leading exponents" of the traditional Punch & Judy Show.
